Assistant Coach: Doug Fagan
Coach Fagan's passion for the game of hockey began to develop at age four in the Perry Youth Hockey Association on the south side of Indianapolis. He is proud of the fact that the first goal he scored in his career was on his own goalie! This experience fueled the fire, and Coach Fagan excelled in travel hockey from squirt thru bantam, eventually playing four years of varsity high school hockey with The Perry South Stars. He was captain his senior year, sang the National Anthem before home games, and eventually played on Team Indiana to conclude his youth career.
During high school, Coach Fagan began his coaching career assisting his father with The Perry South Stars Squirt A team. His senior year, while working at the ice rink, he also assisted with the Squirt AA team, and helped lead practices for the South Stars Junior Varsity team.
Looking for a new challenge in college at Marion University, Coach Fagan turned to cycling. He was a National Silver and Bronze medalist competing on Marion's road and track cycling teams. He remains active in cycling, enjoys training hard, and is still a regional elite level road cyclist.
After a long layoff from the sport, Coach Fagan began officiating games and playing adult league hockey. He quickly rediscovered his burning passion for the sport of hockey and, perhaps more importantly, for teaching the game to others.
Coach Fagan lives in Broadripple with his wife Amanda, and son Oliver.
